Foxit eSign, an AccountSight product, was founded in 2014 by Mahender Bist and is headquartered in Cupertino in California’s Silicon Valley. Since its founding, Foxit eSign has established itself as a leading and top-rated eSignature software solution used by SMB to Enterprise companies throughout the world. Foxit eSign was acquired by Foxit Software in Sep 2021 and the product name was rebranded to Foxit eSign. The California-based company still operates as AccountSight dba Foxit eSign with the product rebranded as Foxit eSign.

Our Story
We believe the best innovations are born out of necessity. In fact, this belief directly resulted in the establishment of Foxit eSign. As a technology consultant and owner of a consulting company, our CEO Mahender Bist had to constantly send out contracts for signature. It was an arduous process that wasted a lot of time. Many eSignature software applications were not that easy to use and cost too much so he saw the need for a more user-friendly cost-effective eSignature solution and, hence, created Foxit eSign.

Our CEO’s wide range of architectural experience building hundreds of integrated solutions for large enterprise customers has positioned Foxit eSign as the top electronic signature software solution that it is today. Mahender Bist has an extensive background in software consulting with companies like Oracle, McGraw Hill, Ingersoll Rand, Garmin, Cisco, VMWare, Cypress Semiconductor, Kemet Electronics, and dozens of other fortune 1000 companies. Over the years, Mahender has established himself as an entrepreneur and business streamlining expert. In July of 2013, he created the successful time and billing software, AccountSight, before starting Foxit eSign in 2014 in response to the market need for an easy, collaborative, and secure eSignature software solution.
